Your path to an Australian Underground Mining Career…
Start your mining career with Mako Mining by applying to join our Summer Vacation Work Program.
The program is open to students currently completing a degree in underground Mining Engineering, Geology or Surveying.
DURING THE PROGRAM YOU WILL
- Have the opportunity to actively participate in a variety of hands-on underground tasks, complementing your theoretical learnings.
- Work 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster at one of our current mining projects
- Be competitively remunerated with an attractive shift rate $$
- Have your International/Interstate flights covered
- Have your subsidized accommodation organised before you arrive in WA
- Experience working in a new state or country with a dynamic, youthful company looking to grow quickly and provide you with additional career opportunities in the years ahead
We encourage successful students to participate in further vacation work with us over the course of their degree, with the goal of aiming to then participate in Mako Mining’s Graduate Program upon final completion of your degree.
